On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, the Commission celebrated the distinguished career of Executive Director Lisette McCormick at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh in honor of her forthcoming retirement on June 30. Ms. McCormick led the Commission for over 18 years, skillfully directing the implementation of the recommendations contained in the 2003 Report of the PA Supreme Court Committee on Racial and Gender Bias in the Justice System. The Commission thanks E.D. McCormick for her tireless commitment to advocating for equity and fairness in our Commonwealth – she will be missed!
