On January 5, 2023, the Commission submitted comments to the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) Board in response to the Board’s publication of proposed amendments to existing educational requirements for attorneys licensed in PA. In its comments, the Commission applauded the Board for its responsiveness to the suggestions of the Commission and other stakeholders that attorneys be required to complete mandatory coursework on antibias and anti-harassment. The Commission also suggested that the Board strengthen its proposal by making such credit mandates recurring, rather than one-and-done, requirements.
