On August 31, 2023, the Commission issued a press release, celebrating the decision of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse the Eastern District Court’s ruling striking down PA Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(g). The Rule, whose language the Commission originally proposed, prohibits attorneys from knowingly engaging in harassment and discrimination in the practice of law. Its enforcement represents an important step forward for the legal profession in our Commonwealth.
